No, not clothing for ears, but this style of earring with a back that is part of the style... I LOVE THEM. Why did I not know about these?! I may get these VC ones in silver.

Baublebar.com has a pretty wide selection. But they no longer stock the ones I bought from them about 6 months ago, which are copies of the Diors with the small pearl in front and the large one in back of the ear. I have been wearing those A LOT, despite the fact they are fake and it means I am forsaking my precious earrings.

Oh yeah those are fun! I used to wear them a lot more when I was
younger; I think I've got one pair left, it was crimson and gold with
dangly bits in front and dangly bits on the jacket.

Those are neat, especially the gold/turquoise one! Hmm I'd skipped over all the short ones because I like BIG earrings, but I do really need some smaller pairs to wear when my hair is up (my one pair of large crystal studs gets worn tooooo much). More pretty things to consider

My pair is similar to the find below. Similar, since I probably only paid a dollar or so for them in 1986 or '87 at "Passing Fancy" a Claire-like shop in the Calif. Bay Area.

[The '80s were really great for costume/blingy earrings. I'm remembering Madonna in her 'Desperately Seeking Susan' days.]

You got me--from your title, I thought, "um, hat??"
I've seen these but haven't noticed them on anyone. I'm not sure it's the kind of thing I'd notice as being different than an earring, though, unless I looked really closely. Cool concept. If I had them, I'd probably always wear them the same way: with jacket rather than without.

I'm not wearing them now Una, my ears will only tolerate gold (...I'm such a princess) but I love the look and how it may be worn from the most casual of days to the most formal events.

The name ear jacket does conjure up quite an image though.
