Dyeing suede shoes?

I have a pair of buttery-tan colored suede flats. Still in decent condition but the suede has darkened on heel and toe from normal wear and tear.
Has anyone had suede dyed at shoemakers? I am wondering if they could take them dark brown or gray?

Give it a shot..ask the Shoe repair, or perhaps a bridal shop if they can recommend someone who dyes shoes. Good luck:)

Yes, I had this done. I took mine to a shoe repair. I am pretty sure they had to dye it a couple of times over and over until it is smooth and ready to wear, but it was included in the price.
