At long last, all my internet purchases are here!
1-5: One-shouldered jersey gown, BCBG via Nordies. I felt more supported in the chest than with the size S, but I still could not fix the crumpled boob problem... and man, I fidgeted with this thing for a good 20 minutes, trying to get the layers of jersey to behave. Tried to photograph the phenomenon for you - trust me when I say it is more noticeable in person. :T It is a very comfy dress, though.
6-8: stripey dress, also BCBG. Don't mind the off-center seam in pic #8; I didn't notice it until after I took the pics, and it straightened out fine.
verdict: pretty much set on the striped one. I love the play of the different textures, the shine, the quirky pattern. Plus I think I gave the jersey gown a fair try with 20 minutes dedicated to dressing one boob...
also: I am wearing a Dr. Rey step in shaper in XS here. I must say I prefer it to my Spanx higher power (which of course I found the day after ordering the new one).
tangent: these pics do prove that I MUST curl the ends of my hair. Any good curling tips for gals with stubborn hair that hates to curl?
