It seems silly, but this is a big decision for me! I've wanted a pair of Doc Martens for well over ten years and I'm just now letting myself buy them. I was reluctant to spend the money, expecting to grow out of my sort-of-punk/goth phase and not wear the boots anymore, but I've come to terms with my "edgy" side and have decided to invest. After all, 10+ years of wanting really isn't just a passing fancy.

Of course, now I can't decide what color! Black seems the obvious choice for standard reasons: it's a classic look, it goes with everything, etc. Lately, though, I haven't been able to get the silver ones ( http://www.dmusastore.com/p-2398-1b60.aspx ) out of my head; even more so after Tam posted pictures of how awesome she looks in hers. My heart says silver but my head says black. What do you think?
