One vote for silver here. That's what mine are, in a more textured leather than the ones you posted, and I get so much use from them. You do have to be prepared that some of the silver rubs off - that happened on the toe of mine, but it doesn't bother me.

I vote silver as well. They will go with anything the black would go with and possibly more.

I vote for silver! It's still a neutral color and will go with so much! Sometimes you have to listen to your heart. :)

Another vote for silver. I got those exact ones last fall and wore them a lot. Super comfy and got tons of compliments on them too.

Late chiming in, but I say silver too. I couldn't decide at first either, but boy am I glad I got the silver ones. I think they are just as versatile as the black ones, and a little more unique. Let us know what you decide?

Oooh Eve I'm excited to hear of another Docs lover! And to say you liked them on me is very flatttering! I was insipired to get them by seeing how great other people like Tanya, Inge, Laura and Marianne (???) looked wearing them. I do love the silver, but they do start to look scuffed a lot earlier than the traditional leather. My maroon Docs are probably about 6 years old now and the regular leather is still very smooth looking. Docs are great because they last forever!!!
