I wear a lot more skirts and dresses in the summer than in the fall/winter. Also, I seem to wear more off-white, khaki, brown, and gold/bronze - earthy tones seem right for summer. But, I've been debating about moving away from this and sticking with white/silver/gray instead.
I wear volume and structure year round and I also love my cardi's no matter what the weather! So, mostly I do seasonal variations on favorite looks except that I wear a skirt or dress about 50% of the days, whereas in the winter/fall I might only wear them once a week.
I also wear heels more in the cooler months than in the summer. That is strange, considering ice and snow, huh? I guess I walk a lot more when it's warmer out.
I wear blazers mostly in fall OR spring, sort of like outwear for me. Hard to put a blazer on under a winter coat, and it's too hot in the summer.
I also confess I have this mental problem pairing blazers with clamdiggers. It seems wrong to me. (Okay with a skirt, just not clams).
And I probably wear statement earrings just a tad more often than statement necklaces in the summer. If it's really hot out, a necklace feels like too much.
