I have a small closet (or maybe a few too many clothes?) and every spring and fall, I have to rotate out the clothes and shoes to storage. This weekend, I'm packing up sandals, summer skirts, pastel colors, etc, and taking out wool sweaters, boots, turtlenecks.

Some things I leave out all year, like black pumps, and other things I'm not sure about. Do you wear nude pumps all year, for example, or not in winter? I think of it as a spring/summer shoe, but maybe it's more versatile?

I live in New England (cold winters) and am pretty traditional, i.e. no white after Labor Day, etc, but for nude pumps and my hot pink flats, I'm not sure. What do you do?
