I ordered these yesterday. they have very high ratings. I really no longer have any walk all day sandals, except old flip flops and the Muck lucks (birkie look alikes) and it is going to be sandal weather for a while yet. They are Walking Cradles. I thought they would look a little more stylish with the zippers, but looking at the photos today I am seeing maybe frumpy????

AT- you are not prone to frumpy from what I see in your posts. Those shoes skew comfort to my eye, but here's the thing. If they work as all day walkers and other sandals don't, sometimes with footwear that reality has to determine what one buys and wears.

I live there too, especially after surgery for an ankle break this spring. Aggravates me because I love shoes. Big time. I have been rocking white sneakers all summer. You do what you have to do for the moment in time and the desired function. Try a few pairs and see what fits your foot and taste the best.

If you are ordering these because you have foot problems and need this kind of shoe, by all means get some comfort...If you are ordering these because you need a pair of sandals to finish out the season, keep looking...I hope this wasn't too honest...smile...

They look ok, IMO, But if comfort is your main objective, go by that.... I have WC Valerie, that is super comfy and a bit more stylish... available from Amazon.com from $40+.... I have several problems w/my feet. These help a lot

I will be honest and say they do not appeal to me on first sight-- but try them on and see how they look on your foot. Often that is the only way really to tell.

I am with Suz. They look very gear/comfort line, but maybe on your feet and styled the effect would not be bad. Comfort is king though!

They look like shoes designed for comfort, no doubt about it. Frumpy is in the eye of the beholder I think. I'd personally go for Birkie's since they are both comfortable and in fashion at the moment.

If you're looking for a comfort shoe, I can recommend you one. I bought this pair of naot shoes in matte black leather and I love them. I don't think they look frumpy at all but they do have a slight chunky appearance, I'm thinking feminine Birkenstock shoe here. The design is neat and flattering and you can walk for hours without getting tired. They look good with anything, really, and you feel so, so good in them. Comfort is a priority to me when it comes to shoes.

They don't appeal to me stylistically, but comfort can trump style any day. It really depends on your needs and how they look on you.

Comfort for all day shoes is the main thing. Otherwise stylish shoes, blistered feet, sad eyes and a bad temper!
I am neutral on the sandal in terms of style and shape.

Oooh, I like the Naots that Mimi posted. I've had one pair of Naots in my life, and they were one of the most comfy shoes I've ever had.

To be honest, I do think that the pics of the sandal you posted do read a bit frumpy. Sorry! But quite honestly, we have to do what we have to do in terms of comfort.

The Sofft Bernia was an Angie pick. Suz wore hers to death this summer. She said they were very comfy.

To be honest, I feel like there is too much going on for a sandal of this type. It's like a comfort shoe trying too hard. When I need total comfort, I just wear comfy shoes and don't worry too much about how they look, but to get fashiony comfort I think there are better options.
