I always have a little something that amuses me about my outfit. Either I'm channeling someone like Miss Marple or Don Johnson, have on funky jewelry like my robot necklace or am challenging the corporate dress code by wearing the right pieces but in bright colors.

No pictures here either, but I think my style boils down to "unafraid." I will throw together things that may or may not work, and more often than not they don't, but I'm unafraid to wear them anyway. For instance, I don't have "skirt" tops and "pants" tops--everything gets worn with everything else, even if some pieces don't play well with others. And I own few solid-colored tops; maximal is definitely my mantra.
"Confused" lol I am kidding:). I find this sort of thing quite difficult. I find I can define others style but struggle to define my own, so I almost feel I need to ask you what my word would be.
I'm going to go with "modern"? Though a friend the other week labelled me "classic".
There are so many elements to our style it's tricky picking out what is perhaps the dominant signature.
After seeing your latest outfit (your third 'hit' in a week), you are definitely not confused. You're quite simply 'STYLISH'! Now, I'm off back to work! (Leaving on the Eurostar later for London!! A patient gave me tickets for the opening ceremony! YAY!)
It means composed of different, often incongruous elements and also can mean variegated in color.
I know I don't post pictures enough for you all to get to know my style but I have embraced color in a huge way. After six weeks, already known at work for colorful and punched up looks (since so many of the employees go for black tops it isn't hard to stand out!) and accessories. But still defining my style as far as classic vs. boho, etc.
Is it fair to call mine 'active'? I mean, I pretty much don't wear anything that I can't climb a roadside dinosaur in for a pic, you know. Or go bowling in. And I have done both in skirts and dresses. I thought 'casual' was too big a cop out.
I'm definitely a minimalist dresser, but I like to have something unexpected in my outfit. I usually aim for sophisticated look, but also like a bit of urban funkiness. That's why I love Ann Demeulemeester's designs. I would wear any of her items-- well, maybe not the mini-skirts (I am in my early 60s, after all!).
