Denim hemmed for heels & flats??

I saw a feature on this in a magazine at the gym and thought it sounds interesting (but probably a hassle):

I've seen this ad. I wonder how effective it is?

Wow, what a neat idea. Is it just that no-sew iron on webbing stuff in a fancy package?

It is a cool idea, but like Angie, I wonder how well will it work. I can see it working well on skinnies and straight leg pants, but those can be worn with both flats and heels anyway. I wonder how will these things hold up and look with bootcut/flare/wide leg pants, where they would be most useful.

I can tell you right now this would not happen as I raced around in the morning trying to get ready. Nope. I'll just hem.

It's basically just double-stick tape. It will work in a pinch but I don't like the look of jeans without the hem stitching.

I have always two pairs, one for heels and another for flats. That is the easiest way.

yes, it does look like double sided tape. I would have trouble getting the hem to be even - I feel like you would have to iron it to get a good looking hem but then you would get wear marks at the bottom which would look strange when you let it out for the longer length. This is a moot point for me as I just have jeans hemmed for flats or heels but just thought I would throw it out there in case anyone wanted to try it out.

In general I just have pants of different lengths for different shoes, but I could see something like that being helpful in a time like pregnancy, when I basically have one nice pair of jeans. I'm having some ppl issues (they are too long for flats) and don't want to spend for another good pair of jeans that I can only wear for two more months!

I agree with the potential problems, though. I dislike the look of non-properly-hemmed jeans. Also, you get wear lines at the fold.
