I remember there was a discussion recently about a blogger's outfit that she suggested she could wear to a wedding, even though it was fairly casual.

I am reading an article about culottes in the weekend WSJ, and came across this quote.
" The breezy, cropped trousers cut a much chicer line than any full-length suit could. At a casual weekend party in the country, they were easier and more elegant than a summer dress, worn with a simple linen T-shirt and flat bronze K. Jacques sandals. And for a wedding in New York this fall, I'm planning on wearing them with a vintage neoprene racer-back top and my favorite spindly sandals from Manolo Blahnik."

What do you think? To me, racer back top and wedding don't quite mix. I find that I generally tend to dress fairly traditionally for weddings ( mostly dresses or skirts) but maybe city chic weddings are different?
