One of my favourite wildcards last fall was my pleather culottes... but I am struggling a bit with them now. I wore them in the winter with high boots... I'm NOT wearing high boots ANY MORE. Despite the single digit temps :). And it's not yet warm enough for booties or shoes with bare legs, so they have been ignored for a couple of months. But it will be, and I'd like to wear these more while they are still in style.

I was inspired by Angie's post, Culottes and a moto vest. And the temps are heading into bare legs territory, so I decided to give the idea a try. I don't have a moto vest, but given the pleather material, I think something else might be better anyway.

So, question #1: Are pleather culottes too wintery for spring?

And if no... then what do you think of these styling ideas? As an IT I do better with slim bottoms, and I think the vest helps reign in some of the volume in the culottes.

I also tried some more springy styling w/o the vest.

Would love your thoughts on these, and if the answer is to just put them away until fall, that's okay too.

PS. Excuse the lack of make up :). Grabbing a few minutes while home with a sick DD.
