Oh Goodwill! Now that I’m being fussier about fit, I tend to either strike out completely or get really lucky when someone similar to my size & taste preferences must’ve done a wardrobe clean out. Which I’m pretty sure is why it’s so easy to love thrifting…aren’t intermittent rewards the most addictive? Slot machine style. Plus, Goodwill is on my way home form the library, even a right turn both into & out of the parking lot, so it’s so easy to include in my weekly routine! I usually find what I want via thrifting, but not in the order or time frame I’d want it in, lol, so I completely understand why it’s not working for you! If I switched to your wardrobe method, I’d probably get much more into Ebay (or now LikeTwice).
I’ve spent years looking for the right chambray shirt while I’m out at thrift stores, but lately I’ve realised I’m just not a denim person. I don’t have a denim jacket, or want one, and my 2 pairs of denim jeans are more than enough. I just love the colours, so as long as I get blue & grey & blue-grey stuff, I should be just as happy!
