Today I wore new cropped pants that were shortened from old ones: deep burgundy Simon Chang Twill straight legs (http://www.dream-pants.ca/Simo.....htLegBlack) from 2012. The feel was wonderful, but they ended up always hanging in my closet and never in my cleaning basket.

A good seamstress cropped them into a an over-the-ankle length. She added a side slit. She also reduced leg width. So far I like it more, and hope it will get more wear.

The below outfit felt great.

First question: I chose these very sporty pieces, but how would you style them?

  • Navy tee from Talbots
  • Jacket from Laundromat
  • Fluevog shoes

Pic 5 is the same pair in brown, back in 2012, so you can have an idea of what the burgundy ones looked like before.

Pic 4 is my second question: I think I am an IT. Am I wrong? I have the hardest time with tee-shirts although I am not that busty; my shoulders are rather broad and arms seem buff in tee-shirts, that's why I avoid them unless they are very large. Every time I feel I have huge arms, even though they are in fact of a normal size. Is it just me or is there a fit/cut explanation? Other IT's experiencing this?

Thank you for looking.
