Cream Coat (Finally!) - YouLookFab Forum

As some of you know, I've been on the hunt for a cream, non-wool coat for Austin's warmer winters. I haven't had any luck up until this point (and had pretty much given up for now), but I went to Harold's to find some stuff for Brendan (they are going out of business, and everything is on sale). I found a coat that is part of their Spring/Resort collection, so it is smooth cotton, with a thin polyester lining--perfect! It has black contrasting stripes which I really like as well--very retro. I wanted to post it here in case anyone is interested, or was looking for a cream jacket (it's not returnable since they are going out of business). Their website is shut down, but if there is a store near you, it's worth going in and having a look.

Brendan approved, and there was a very similar coat that was on the Soia & Kyo website that I liked a long time ago, but it wasn't available in the US.

Laura, Harold's is a regional clothing store. It started in my town here in Oklahoma, and it is going out of business (sad).

Thank you so much everyone! I'm so excited about it. I think I lucked out (Murphy's Law of Shopping). It's been cold here, so I've been wearing my heavy wool coat since I didn't have anything else, and by noon I was way too hot to wear it anymore.

Laura, Barbara is right--it's a regional clothing store. On their website, they still have a store locator up so you can see if there is a Harold's near you, but you are not able to order anything online anymore.

It's a good place--I would say it's very comparable to Ann Taylor, except Harold's also carried men's clothing (we got Brendan a blue sweater while we were there).

It's been cooler the last few weeks, so I've had plenty of opportunity to wear it! It's definitely one of my favorite pieces. One lady told me that it was an Audrey Hepburn coat.
