Do you wear cowboy boots? If so, where do you live (state or approximate region)?
Here are my boots. They're Ariat, now over 15 years old, and still going strong. I take reasonably good care of them, but I sort of like their beat-up patina, so I don't worry about every spot and scrape. I've had them resoled only once. Note the pink lining!
I bought my boots while living in Texas. They are about as common as sneakers in Austin! Now in upstate New York, they attract some attention instead of blending, but I love them and wear them pretty regularly with jeans. Once in a while I wear them with bare legs and a denim pencil skirt--again, common in Texas, especially in the evening, but a rare look here.
Do you wear and/or see women wearing cowboy boots where you are?
