DD just started pre-school ( where did the time go!). She came home pretending to dress up as the "blue queen" and saying she wanted to be her for Halloween. Now, she has never seen the movie. So I know it must be the influence of the other kids, and as a parent, I feel like you just roll with it.

Knowing how insanely popular Elsa is, I have started looking for a costume early. I was willing to spend a little more knowing she has started to really enjoy dress up and would play with it long after Halloween. Still, it is darn near impossible to find a costumes for cold weather!

Really?!? Tank tops or short sleeves? Tulle skirts that end at the knee?!?

And it's not just Elsa costumes. It is all of them. Here is a link from Gymboree

So, I am going to try to find a longer costume she can wear pants under. No way around wearing a coat outside it the end of October. And probably a cardigan inside, for that matter.

Any other ideas or suggestions? I know her preschool goes and trick or treats the nurses stations at a nearby nursing home. And we took her to trick or treat at a handful of houses last year. But then she was a bundled bumblebee.
