I think this outfit would work just as well with a tomato red clutch (on my xmas wish list), but I had fun with this clutch (not too obvious in these shots), as it served also as ring bling. Though it was mild out tonight in the museum it wasn't that warm so I wound up keeping the jacket on for most of the time. It is a suit-jacket weight, so "just right."

I saw so many amazing outfits tonight... but they are all in my mind, as I didn't feel comfortable photographing.

Getting dressed for a benefit reception at an art museum, invite says "cocktail attire encouraged." It's unseasonably warm today (hit mid 60s), and at last minute I remembered I have this brocade coat (pic 1) --- that never gets worn because it's usually too cold. It's really really old -- at least 15 years old, but in impeccable condition since I've worn it so infrequently. Back when silver rather than gold was all the rage, Angie made me save it from culling!

I think it's perfect for an evening at the museum and for tonight's temperatures, so I've decided to base my outfit on the coat:

- LBD
- clutch with gold studs
- Okala's - leopard

But what hose should I wear with this? Probably going to go with micro fishnets.

QUESTION: Nude or black ?

Sorry pic of the coat is not that great - to my eye, it looks much better over a dress rather than these jeans here.
