One of my goals for this spring's shop is to back-fill key items that I keep wishing I had. To actually make progress rather than just adding a mishmash of more stuff, I decided to focus on one color at a time. Right now, it's my favorite blue, cobalt. I wore the cobalt cardi and flannel shirt all winter. For spring I have a cami and a s/s tee for layering. I have a few really nice pieces of lapis jewelry as well.

New additions: the linen sleeveless top, 2 pairs of earrings and last night I pulled the trigger on a new handbag. I have been reaching for earrings I don't have for a long time, these really feel like they complete the capsule. Why I put off spending $10 for something like those studs is a mystery. Still looking for shoes, but that is a constant struggle for my sad feet, may end up at the Shoes of Prey site mentioned today on the Vivienne Files.

For now, just new 4 items and I feel like this capsule is done for now. I think my next capsule color focus should be for my neutrals even if another bright would be more fun. Disciplined shopping for the win! Anyone else making color capsules?
