How is the quality of apparel/accessories from Modcloth, Spiegel, Newport News, Chadwicks and Boden? Compared to say Banana Republic or Gap. Or pick any mainstream retailer of your choice.

Modcloth carries varying stock so the quality depends on the individual manufacturer. Boden is about on par with BR, better than the Gap. don't know about the rest. I got a free sweater from Chadwicks and the quality is pretty bad but it was free so :p
