Clarisonic: Are the men's and women's the same?

Rave reviews for the Clarisonic here on this forum persuaded me to give it a try so I ordered one during NAS.

Thing is, I inadvertently ordered the men's version of the Mia2.

Does anyone know if the men's and women's are actually different (apart from the colours of the handles)? If it is the same product, I will keep. If women's is different, I should send back.

The brush heads are removable and interchangeable....maybe go pick up another brush head at Shoppers Drug Mart and see if it fits. (they're about 20$).

And if you are thinking maybe there is a speed difference - I can't really even tell the difference between the two options I have on mine - so I really doubt that matters much either.

Sorry - me again. You DO know Shoppers sells Clairisonic - and you can use your points to buy one ....was the US price really a lot lower?

Same device, except for the colour. The only difference might be the "men's version" may not include the "sensitive" brush head as an alternative--might just have another "regular" head.

That's not much of an issue because you ought to change brush heads every 3-5 months, so you can pick up a pack of sensitive heads at Shoppers or Sephora if you want to start with that head. I honestly can't tell much difference between the versions. If you start with a "regular" head, just use a lower speed and light pressure for the first week or so., if you are concerned.

My local Shoppers don't carry them, Lisa. But I should check online. I could potentially pick one up in Toronto (and send back the Nordstrom's one) if it is just as cheap here.

Living in a smaller metropolis really has its drawbacks. Sigh.

They are also sold at Sephora - so replacement heads, new cleansing formulas etc are always handy to pick up there. Easy Canadian ordering - free shipping etc.

That is helpful, Lisa -- we do have a Sephora in our mall. And also, it looks like you can get them at the Bay online! (Not in my local store, though... this should the refrain to the song of my life, LOL.)

Anyway, it's a done deal and the price still worked out to a bit cheaper (on sale) so I will keep the grey men's version and try it out! Looking forward to brighter skin thanks to the great recommendations here.

Suz, I think they are the same and, as others say, it's just a difference in brush heads. I got the men's one for DH as he kept using mine (grrr), and the SA told me men just wanted a more masculine colour.

Well good to know because I LOVE mine and have been considering getting one for DS. I was just going to get a white one.

I bought mine and buy replacement heads at the Bay.
