Chewy Spaghetti Outfits & New items

I bought some things this week, but since I wore most of them I will just point them out here :)

Monday:
Thanks to KristenKP for pointing out that ATL had vests for $10. I managed to
swing by one and get this white vest.

The tunic was from Ross (and now needs some alterations), clams hemmed from Lands End jeans, BOC sandals, and flower pin from The Gap circa 2004
Later that day, I picked up a necklace and cross body bag.

Later in the week I found a fuscia gerber daisy pin that would have gone much better with this outfit, too.

Tuesday:
Dress from the Target clearance rack- first time wearing it unbelted. Not sure of the look, but it was comfy. Same BOC sandals and the necklace that I found the day before.

Wednesday:
New dress and necklace from Kohl's, same BOC sandals and the new cross boday bag

Thursday:
We spend Thursdays at a park, so this is my out in the heat all day outfit.
New Madden Girl Glad's, denim crops, halter top, and leather flower hair clip

Friday:
Hubby and I are heading to a movie and dinner. I asked him if there was a certain thing that he wanted me to wear, and he said that he likes me in these jeans, so I built a casual outfit around them.
Madden Girl Glads, eide leg jeans from Macy's, Threadless tee, ATL vest, wooden bead necklace from Payless Shoes, cross body bag

HI Chewy,
I have that vest from ATL and I wear it all the time! It has become my summertime "jacket". It looks great on you. I'm sure you'll find hundreds of ways to wear it.

I must admit, I like that red dress better without the belt. try the dress w/out belt and with the vest. see what that does.

And I really like that Kohls dress-- it's very flattering on you.

Happy outfitting!

Fab week as always Khris! The vest is a great addition and I think you rock in that date night outfit. I love that Target dress on you and I don't remember the belted look but I really like it unbelted - it has a nice airy, summer feel to it. Monday's outfit seems a little busy with the patterned shirt and the vest and the flower pin and the necklace and the cross body bag and the flowered shoes (which I adore btw). I think I would prefer it without the flower pin and necklace since the print itself adds so much detail to the whole outfit.

I didn't wear the necklace and cross body bag with Mondays outfit- just wanted to show what I had bought :)

Great outfits Chewy! My favourite is Monday's outfit; so fresh. Love white against the colourful pattern.

Great week! You look terrific in both dresses, and I love the white vest, so versatile. I really like the going out outfit too.
I think I prefer the Target dress unbelted, I like the shape.

Great week, Khris. The vest is so great. I need to swing by ATL as I've been looking for one and you all look so great in yours. The looks you have here created here with it are exactly what I want to do myself.

The new gladiator type sandals are awesome! Wow.

I like the Target dress unbelted. It's a nice easy look. At the temperatures we're in now (it's been over 100 multiple times this week), easy and loose are extremely appealing.

Thanks ladies!
I was thinking about trying the vest with the dress from Target, but now I don't know that I will even be able to wear it again until September or October. It's just too hot! When I bought it, I was thinking of taking the sleeves off, but I didn't notice that it's a raglan (duh!).

Fabulous Ross tunic! It’s so cheerful.

KILLER sack dress. I *love* this look on you. Get more.

And a fabulous date night outfit too! Adore the gladiators and the crossbody bag. Really nice.

Kris, your style is evolving. You are adding more and more edge to your look and I’m DIGGING it.

Thanks Angie!
I was just thinking that I wished I could fine a sleeveless sack dress.Have you ever watched Weeds? Mary Louise Parker wears a lot of little sack dresses in that show, and I love them. I was looking at the one that I have though, and I still may be able to get the sleeves off. I'm spending the weekend doing some alterations, so I'll throw that in my pile. I hope I don't ruin it.
I'm starting to feel more and more comfortable in my clothes. I'm glad you like the Friday outfit, because I felt really good in that.

That vest is killer! I love it in contrast with such a cheerful print top. :) And your outfit with the gladiators and blue print top is so fabulous!!

p.s. I LOVE the flower in your hair! :) Or is it a feather? Either way it's such a sweet, girly touch. <3

GREAT week! Love the vest -- glad I was able to nudge you to ATL before they were gone.

The dresses look great, but I must say I adore Thursday and Friday's outfits. Friday's looks especially slim -- and the vest and graphic tee together are killer.

LOVE the hairclips; they look so edgy against the crisp style of your hair!

Thanks Kristen and Onerix!
I am going to build up a collection of these flower clips/pins. They seem to be a good way to accessorize without adding something that may get hot or heavy in the summertime. Kristen- you've converted me into an ATL fan with all of your great finds there.
That datenight outfit is the most "me" outfit that I have worn in a long time. Maybe it's because the jeans do make me look slender.
