Check in Here for Seattle July Meetup!

Hi all! As we decided in an earlier thread, there will be a YLF meetup on Saturday, July 23rd, starting with breakfast, then going for some shopping, and also lunch. Venues to be determined, but I trust that someone who knows the area can decide on restaurants since we have a big group! If you want to pass along the name of the restaurant to me, I'm happy to call and make the reservation.

We're also planning on a dinner the night before since many of us are coming from out-of-town. Again, venue TBD, and again, please chime in with suggestions of where to eat. I think I'll be staying at either the Renaissance, or the Courtyard Downtown Pioneer Square, but I can meet wherever is convenient for the group.

Oh, Angie, just to clarify, I was only listing people who definitely said they'd be there, so it's just that I hadn't seen anything specific about the Friday night dinner from those out-of-towners. I fully expect that most of them will join us!

Great, Janet. Perhaps some will chime in on this thread about Friday night? I can't make the reservations without a good idea on the numbers. So we'll give it a while.

I'm a definite maybe for any/all of the events. I'm not sure about the schedule for my daughter's dance convention in Seaside, OR yet. Hopefully I will hear the schedule sooner rather than later....

My plans are going to be up in the air until the date gets closer. The whole family will be making the trip over (4 hr drive) to visit family so when we leave is dependent on what DH has going on with his business. My guess is we won't leave until Friday evening or Sat morning. So my hopeful plan is to meet up with everyone at some point Saturday. So exciting! Does anyone in the group live in the Everett or Redmond area? That's where we have family so I may hitch a ride there or back if that ends up being convenient for anyone.

Aida lives in Everett.

Update: It turns out i have a previous commitment on the 23rd, but I'll definitely be there for dinner on the 22nd. Wouldn't miss a visit with you lovely ladies.

I am so sorry to have been out of the loop! Yes, please count me in for Friday and Saturday events. We just booked a Seattle/Victoria trip for earlier in July so this is my next project. Probably staying at a downtown Hyatt Olive 8 (points!). Another thought for a big reservation but maybe not as great food-wise is a hotel- used to having large parties. So, so excited to have this opportunity!

AviaMariah - I live in Redmond. I am still waiting on the dance convention schedule but if things work out, we can figure out a carpooling situation. Although I may just bus downtown since that is usually faster than driving from here.

Deb, I have a room at the same hotel! (I'm in a king single bed, paid with reward points, so I'll stick with my current plan to lodge solo.) I bet someone will be able to room with you though! I'm so glad you're joining us!
