Can't exchange the shoes :( - YouLookFab Forum

It was technically my bad, because I didn't notice on the website that they're final sale. The owner was puzzled; no one else has had them not fit. She suggested that the photo (same one I include here) wasn't the best indicator. But I can tell you that when I stand up, the toes still peek out the same amount.

Would you wear these as is? I am not thinking it's going to be a comfort issue. (I hope.) but would you eschew wearing them simply because of how they look?

And if so, what would you all do? They're not a well-known brand, so I don't think consigning them is worth it. They're not that special. I could also give them to my local AIDS action nonprofit, which runs a boutique.

Sad to say, because I want to support small businesses, but I feel like only ordering from zappos or Nordstrom now.

Like you said, they don't fit you. Try to get store credit if you can. If she says you are the only one with issues with those shoes that means that she disregards the customers' complaints.
I am sure you are not the only one, it's the shoes, not you.
So sorry that this happened to you. That is why I only shop in places where they treat me right and have a good return policy.
If she doesn't want to do anything for you I would give her a very poor review online.

I agree with Joyce. Besides, if you're the only one with the problem, she should have no trouble selling them to someone else. Above all else, though, she should value you as a customer and make good on this.

So tough! Hoping for store credit.
I'm no good at e-bay but would decide between other consignment options-if they don't sell you could retrieve and still donate to your preferred charity--vs. just chalk up to Life Experiences.

Put them on style exchange here. You never know. They look cool - too bad they don't fit.

If you can't return try a consignment shop. They are new, on trend, good material/quality and in season all pluses for resale value (you will still take a loss but maybe less of one).

Sad that they don't even begin to fit and that they can't be returned. I'd donate them to the boutique. For this reason, I'm hesitant to shop small places or even those that just give credit unless I shop there regularly.

Holy buckets these are way too long for your feet..her sizing was way off.

I wonder if the size is marked wrong on these. I wouldn't wear them, too easy to trip.

It's too bad. They're cute, from what I can see, anyway. Also, the shop could have had some good publicity here had they let you exchange them. Were they European sizing? I've noticed that the conversion between American and European sizing is sometimes off. For example, I generally wear size 10, but my Naot sandals are size 42, which supposedly is size 11.
