Canadian Fabbers, does Danier store in Niagara Falls have a good selection?

I will be in the area for a very short time and may just cross over to Canada to check it out.
It is in a tourist area so they must have a good selection, right?
Also, if you know the area, can you recommend good restaurants for fish or vegetarian? I am not looking for fancy environment, just good food. I'll save my money for the shopping.

I don't know Niagara Falls very well, Joyce. I am not sure the selection in the Danier would be especially good -- but if you go online and see something you like, you can have things ordered to a store to try, I believe -- Sveta might know more.

I'm afraid I have no restaurant recommendations for the city, either -- I have mostly tried to avoid eating there! There are some good places in Niagara on the Lake, though.

Thanks, Suz, that's good to know. Maybe when I go with more time I will use the order to store feature.
I will try to check out Niagara on the Falls if I make it to Danier.

I did not even know they have Danier there so apparently I never set a foot in that store:-)
I also recommend to call the store and ask them. Do you have something particular in mind from the website or just want check it in general? They have clearance now - up to 70% off so if you order something now they will honor the price for the time you come even if the sale would be over.
I don't have any restaurants recommendation unfortunately. Niagara on the lake is very nice but it is even more fun to check some wineries. I especially like Twenty Valleys area and the wineries have very good food too.

Thanks, Sveta. I want to check out a suede jacket, leather jacket and an attaché case. I think the sale should be on tomorrow which is when I might go.
It's good to know that they will honor the price if I call ahead.
It sounds like will I need more time to visit that beautiful area. Maybe on the next trip...

Just to add, it is sometimes true that tourists know stuff that residents don't...
Now you can shop there too if it's close to where you are.

You may want to check out this restaurant if you want something off the beaten path: http://www.roziescafe.ca/ though it is a little bit of a drive from Niagara Falls.
