Camisoles

I am pretty petite and find that layering with camisoles makes me even flatter and boyish than usual. I normally use camisoles without in bulit support and wear my regular (non padded) bras. Do camisoles with support work better? Just wanted to hear from people that might face the same issue!

you might want to pick up a padded bra to wear under camisoles to give yourself a bit more shape. I'd go to Nordstrom with a camisole and layering top and let the sales associate help me find something that works.
Another option is to find a camisole with built in padding. I know several years ago New York and Co. sold some.

I always wear a somewhat padded bra to create the illusion of curves up top. They work quite well under a camisole.

I also have a couple of "shapped" camisoles...that is, with a built in formed bra, but find them uncomfortable because the elastic of the built-in bra is too tight in both of them.

I usually want the coverage on my neck and/or arms, but I don't necessarily need it anywhere else and I hate feeling hot and bulky when I wear layers! Anyway, the reason I thought it might be helpful is because the full-length cami, for me, feels a lot more flattening--not sure if it is the extra fabric or the cut, or what--and these halftees fit me more like a really really soft sports bra. They mold to my curves just like a bra (I am wearing a regular bra under, of course) and I like the resulting layering look.

Queenmum - Thanks! Yes I am mulling padded bras under camisoles or the camisoles with in built support - but just that as Saretta said I hear they're uncomfortable - but should give them a shot I guess!
Angie - I guess you hit the nail on the head - its been a couple of years now - its a little difficult getting a good fitting done where I live and prefer to get it done when I travel overseas.
Saretta - Thanks! I guess I should try the padded option - just that I find myself being a little conscious of suddenly looking a fuller!!
Samar - That seems like a lovely option! Esp considering that I live in a place that has very hot and humid weather!
