I set a rule for myself this year that if the shoes are not "walk your dog in them comfortable" I was not going to buy them. I did anyway, a pair of beautiful low heeled, cherry red wedges. I desperately wanted red shoes, true red, and these fit the bill and were okay comfort wise.

And now they languish in my closet, unworn, not because I don't have a myriad of outfits to pair them with, but because I choose around them for more comfortable shoes. *sigh*

Any rules you broke this summer? Did they turn out better for you than me?
