Finally had time to have a look at the pictures. I have to say even though some of them aren't as great as they probably would have been with my 17-50 I enjoyed the light weight of the pancake lens immensely. Taking only the fixed focus lens worked out well, I didn't really miss the zoom. Makes me wonder if I might not be happy with something like the Fuji X100T in the (far away) future...
All pictures taken with the Canon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM and my old EOS 400D.
