I saw your new photo on Angie's post & was going to tell you how great your hair looked. YLF

Stunning to the point...I love the color and your springy new cut...You are definitely ready to set the style scene...The entire look so goes with your color...Perfect..

Gorgeous cut and color, Diane! LOVE!

Gorgeous! Fascinated by the clip in idea too.

Breathtakingly stunning!

Your new cut and color looks gorgeous! I had a dark streak in my hair a few years back and I really liked it. I like the idea of the clip in streaks better - I might try those now too. Fun!

The color suits you so well! Fabulous.

Gorgeous! I think it looks so great on you.

Diane I love those colors in your hair on you! The brightness eventually will fade after a couple of washes, but to keep mine bright and the tone correct I have a water filter in my shower head and I use a special color correcting shampoo once a week just to be sure. Ask your colorist about the shampoo thing because you want to protect your "investment'

The filter was not expensive and takes out minerals that can make my hair go greenish and or brassy. But that is California.

Thanks for sharing! Your cut is so perfect for you--the fringe is super flattering and softening.

Thanks ladies!

Karen, good advice! I did actually buy some Moroccan oil based shampoo and conditioner formulated for coloured hair that has no sulphates or other nasties in that strip hair of colour etc, so I'm hoping it does the trick. The last colour I had done got anihilated by the Greek sun on holiday! No chance of that happening in our drab UK winter now though.

Looks fantastic!

I don't know anything about maintaining lighter hair colors, but when I had fade-prone red color, I used to use color-protecting shampoo and conditioner that had UV filters for sun protection, which is supposed to help. The purple-based dye my stylist has been using on me lately is amazing and does not fade though, so I've not been using those products lately.
