Bright blues with muted greens? Y/N

I don't do much more than one color at a time usually. Mostly I ground one color with neutrals. But, being spring, in the spirit of things I'm trying lol. I'm heading down the hill into NV for shopping and it should be low 60's there! My question is if brights can go with more subdued tones. This is a mock up I did in ClosetCouture. What do you think?

Sure! I like mixing blues and greens of varying shades and intensities.

Definitely yes! I used to struggle with what to wear with my olive green trousers until my awesome artist friend mentioned off-handedly that muted greens are a neutral, just like charcoal. Oh boy did that change things for me! Since then I've worn olive flats into the ground and bought an olive leather bag. I think it looks great with blue, especially pastel blues or muted blues, but bright blue can work too. If you can wear red, that is a classic color combo (complimentary colors, after all) as well.

Yes yes! Muted colors are my favorites to pair with brights (burgundyor rust with citron, light blue with orange...), and I think these particular colors look great together.

definate yes for me! I like more unusual color combos in general and I think the olive green is almost a neutral so it works really well together.

Thanks to your enthusiastic 'go ahead's I am now in today's WIW! Thanks. Couldn't figure out whether to tuck or cuff with these boots so I did neither and wore my pants over lol. Maybe as it warms up I can get away with cuffing.

PS ignore the Fitbit on my shirt - I will tuck it out of sight when I go!

PSS it occured to me, I match the scenery out my back window - pine trees, blue skies and snow lol!

How can you miss when you are inspired by Mother Nature? Love that.

I never know what to do with short boots - when you tuck, how do keep the jeans in (or do you wear those stretch holder things on your jeans? Are they comfy?) and so I like your solution.
