BR white jeans

I ordered these white jeans from BR:

Has anyone tried these? What do you think about the fit? My main concern is that they will stretch out. These are high-waisted in case anyone is interested.

The black top in the pics is going back because of the see through factor. Oh and I also received the gladiators endorsed by Angie - they are beautiful, but they'll have to go back too because I need a more rounded toe for my foot shape

P.S. For those who tried M+O jeans, I am wondering how these compare. I also wanted to give them a try, but hate to pay the shipping.

I think they look great on you Marianne. They seem quite snug (is the zipper pulling a bit in the last picture?). If they do relax a bit I don't think it would ruin them. In my experience, BR jeans don't stretch that much.

Marianne, these look great! I have the white BR flare jeans and I have yet to wear them (still too cold so I'm still wearing white cords instead) but they seem so much stretchier than BR's blue jeans so I'm a little worried that they are going to stretch out alot.

I think Dani bought the M+O white jeans...I did try them on in the store and I found them to be less stretchy than other white jeans I had tried on (BR, J Crew) but of course it's not like I wore them for very long!

Fabulous. Are they comfy when you sit down, Marianne? ( I wore my white jeans yesterday!)

Sorry that the gladiators didn’t work. Were they too narrow on the toe? If so, you might like to stretch them out. I had a client do that last week with great success.

Thank you ladies! They are comfortable, and the denim is soft and stretchy, and I am also a little paranoid after J Crew white clams stretched out so much last year. I guess if they stretch out too much, since they are high-waisted, I'll be able to have them taken in so at least they won't slide off.

Angie, they weren't too narrow. I just have a freakishly long 3rd toe which ends up hanging off the sole because the front is kind of pointed. For example, Me Too Swanns' toe box is square and accommodates my toes perfectly. I don't think going up in size will help. But they were absolutely great in all other aspects!

The white jeans look great on you!! My experience with BR jeans is that they stretch out considerably. Sorry for that info but thought you might want to know. They get right size after washing but definitely grow with wearing!!

Thanks GG! Yes, that's my fear, they noticeably relaxed while I wore them at home for 15 min. The talls don't come in a smaller size, unfortunately, and I feel that their talls always run bigger than regulars. I may hold onto them for a couple of weeks but look for other options.

Marianne, I am wearing my white M+O jeans today and they do relax a little but not too much (I've had them on for about 5 hours so far). I had to get the bootcut because the straight leg option (which has a higher rise) doesn't come in long for white. I didn't have to pay shipping on my order since they have free returns, I just ordered enough to get up to the free shipping amount and then returned the other stuff.

Dani, thanks for your report! Hmm I should probably just bite the bullet and make a trip to M+O, which is further away and hard to work into my schedule. Their sizing scheme might work better though.
Angie, the sandal search will continue... I might check out the Clarks store too.

Marianne, I just got a free shipping notice from M+O. It's on their website as well. It runs through Sunday so might be a good time to try it!

Marianne, I'd guess that these are the right size - they look snug but will probably stretch a bit. You look awesome in white jeans!

I have similar toe/fit issues to you.. My 1st-3rd toes are all freakishly long and the same length and the 4th toe is only slightly shorter. Round & square toes are my friend, and peep-toe styles are hard to fit.

Thanks Kari, it definitely makes shoe search even more frustrating. I have also given up on pointy toes. In the past I tried going up a size a few times, but that didn't solve the problem. I still have a pair of pointy ankle boots that are designated "sitting" shoes.
