BR skirt and tee buy or not?

These two pencil skirts in navy polka dot and neutral floral are final sale. Yay or nay? They are 8 petite but no 6 reg available. And does the S tee look Ok or should I size up? Thanks!

I love the pattern of both skirts but the shape of the first one the best! The top is a lovely color for you and the S looks fine to me!

I tried those two and passed because of the following:
Look at yourself from the side view and take a step forward. Does the skirt form a bubble @ your tummy area, giving the illusion of pot belly? I passed on these two because of that reason. They seem to be cut the wrong way IMO.

Tee looks good in that size unless you are uncomfortable, if so, size up.

The t-shirt looks fine. I like the dotted skirt, but not the floral. The fit of the skirt looks okay, but it sounds like Zap had some fit issues with that one ...?

The first skirt looks like a better fit (even though they're the same size). It could be the pattern. I think the tee is just fine; it might be too big if you sized up. I vote for the first skirt.

Thanks Meredith, Lina, Kirti, Anne & Vicki! I ended up getting the first pollka dot skirt--I think it looked OK from the side but I'll double check when I get home--thanks for the tip Lina. I left the floral one behind--you are right, the pattern is too dull and also the fit was too loose around the hips. I ended up sizing up to the M in the tee because it was a little more comfortable, but still fit nicely. And I found the blue and white striped shirt on sale in a size 8 as Angie recommended sizing up. So I got the polka dot shirt, blue striped shirt, and two tees in turquoise and emerald green all for the same price as the blue and pink striped shirt that I returned. Score! Thanks for your help!

Yes, with the extra 30% off all sale items, it was only $20 for the button down, $20 for the skirt and $9 each for the tees. I could have gotten them even cheaper if I had a BR card.
