BR shirt: a LOT of yellow

I'm seeing a lot of yellow too, and I don't remember the shirt that way in my mind. I don't know, honestly. How does it look with jeans? I can't say I noticed sizing, and if I click back now I'll lose my typing......lol.

The pattern is not as sharp as I had hoped it would be. And the fit. It's going back. Oh well, onward!

I like it, and I think it looks like a relaxed fit, but not too big at all. The golden yellow looks great with your hair color.

I do think the yellow might be a bit much, or maybe it is the contrast of the yellow with the blue, and the issue of the fit...but yes...you will find better. Yay for returns!!

Yes on your gorgeous eyes! But the pattern doesn't seem as sharp- I can see exactly what you mean. Does it need the high contrast of white bottoms like the stock picture to stand out? I was waiting for it to turn up in my store since it's not my usual taste so thank you for your review (I think I can pass).

Thanks for being the guinea pig, Viva! I never even considered this shirt, thanks to all those yellows, but I think it's a gorgeous print, and understand why so many fabbers are smitten. You wear it better than most would, I think, but this shirt may turn out to be one lemming that's hard to pull off.

I like the colors, if you can get a fit that's good. It would be dull without the yellow.

LisaP: The shirt is poly but it felt nice - I'm not a poly connoisseur, but I liked the drape. Maybe a little thin?

Muffin: You might be right about the shirt needing white bottoms, or looking better with white bottoms -- but I really want/need this to work for fall (and to be more versatile than that).

Ultimately, just too much yellow for me, and a lack of crispness to the print.

I will look forward to seeing this top work on someone else!

Thanks for posting this. What a bummer, that blouse photographs so well! I was considering it as a wildcard, but yellow is not my color. Crossing it off the list.

I'm glad you showcased it viv - I agree with you that it's more yellow than I thought it would be. I was initially attracted to it, but knew it wasn't for me due to the yellow and the poly - even the "new" poly simply does not work in the heat of the south.
