BR sheath dress on pretty pear?

Hi ladies!

Few weeks ago I scored this silk sheath dress on sale at BR (plus coupon!). I kind of like how it looks in the mirror, even though the dress shape is out of my box.

Question 1: Do you think sheaths can work on me? Does this particular one work?

Question 2: Is it too short?

Bonus shot in my white 1-hr 3-inch heels that I wore a grand total of four times in the last 10 yrs (good quality Italian shoes my Mom bought for me years ago). I think my body can't handle heels higher than 2.5inches.

I love it on you Lena. I really liked this dress when I saw it in the store, but it's not really for my shape or lifestyle, so I will totally enjoy it on you. I actually prefer it with the Brulees than the heels. I bet it would look great with leggings too!

Oh please do try it with leggings, that sounds so great. Angie has got us all understanding that the leggings are an accessory. I love how each person looks unique in their leggings outfits.

Loved! It is adorable and it fits you like a gloove! I think it looks better with the brullees.. when the dress is a little short I think it is not a good ideia to wear heels.

I LOVE this dress. You look fantastic and are making me reconsider it for myself. It's so classy and can be dressed up or down. Paired with colored cardigans or a black jacket. So lovely!

FABULOUS, Lena! Pretty pears can wear sheath dresses and pencil skirts if the skirt part does NOT taper in from the hip. Know what I mean foot-and-toe twin? (And now I see fellow brulee twin). Pretty pear Eva wears this look well too.

Such a versatile frock. Dress it up or down and Bobs your uncle. I’m humbled to have inspired the leggings look – which I happen to be wearing AGAIN today – stirrups though.

Chris, I like prints a lot, but I'm also very picky and generally prefer abstract florals or geometric patterns. I didn't like the chainlink pattern BR had last year. And I like this one.
