Boyfriend blazers for shorties

We know we're short but Ana and I are wondering if there's any way we can make the boyfriend blazer work for us.

Thoughts? Ana thought she would be more likely to wear it belted. I really like the Hinge jacket but am concerned that it's just too long.

I think the blazers look great! I have a slight preference for the NAS one (the Express one looks a little less structured to me (but I'm not a professional so take my opinion with a grain of salt). Go for it!!

I agree with Shiny, Patience, I don't think the jacket is too long. I think you could work this with skinny jeans and heels!-)

For some reason I'm not so fond of the one Ana is wearing. It might be the colour? Or the fact that it seems a bit too big (I know boyfriend blazers are supposed to have a relaxed fit), but something just isn't working for me.

I agree that the Hinge jacket has a little more je-ne-sais-quoi to it. The Express jacket's lapels are too narrow, or something? Hmmmm. I completely think that both of you can make this work!

Having tried on the Hinge blazer and the Express blazer, I think I like the Hinge one better. Patience and I agreed in the store that the Hinge blazer just draped better. The Express one is very stiff, almost like poplin.

Angie, I was interested to see what that color looks like, and it was the closest jacket to the cashwrap (I tried it on as we were leaving). I wasn't planning on buying it though. I love the Hinge blazer on Patience. I think I want an oversized blazer that's not so much like a suiting jacket. Does that make sense? I would probably look for another color and material, like charcoal grey or brown tweedy fabric, something like that.

Thanks for the compliment, Inge! Those are the shoes Patience gave me during our closet swap. I've been wearing them all the time since it's gotten hot. They're perfect.

I have a few and I love them! I think they give a really sophisticated look to an outfit with some added edge! Zara had a great sale on boyfriend blazers.

I've tried on both.

The Hinge blazer is better quality. The Express blazer is stiff.

Put on your skinnies and heels, and you're good to go!
