Finally, it's getting warm enough to get the Boden clams into rotation! Inspired by Lesley's thread about MOTG play clothes, I thought I'd post a few outfits.

Thank you for the lovely compliments (another person who thought she could never wear yellow here, and now I can't get enough of it). And about the clams, it's funny, because I thought I'd get more use out of the dark denim ones, but the white ones are actually more useful. Here's hoping they wash up well!

The clams fit you very well Laura, and I love all three outfits.

Things that stood out to me most:
- the style of the black top and the contrast with that beautiful blue necklace
- the gorgeous shade of pink in the second picture
- how fantastic you look in that pale yellow (hm, food for thought;-)
- those fab sandals

Wow! Love all 3! I love how you paired the pale yellow and turquoise. I have been looking for white clams - every pair I've tried has been too transparent for my liking. These look nice and thick. Are they? Let us know how they wash too!

Laura, I love everything! As I already said on Asha's thread, I am in the process of building the "playground wardrobe" after realizing that this is one area of my life that is completely neglected style-wise, and all these fabulous MOTG outfits posted on the forum are extremely inspirational. The pale yellow is so beautiful on you! I used to think that nobody can wear this color well next to their face, but after seeing your pictures, I changed my mind.

One question: how do you manage to stay presentable in white clams while running after the kids? I always find that any white item of clothing I am wearing becomes leopard 5 min after we leave the house.

I am so glad everyone loves the yellow. It was purchased last year, pre-YLF, and was VERY far from my comfort zone at the time. It happens to be one of my favorite colors and I decided who cares, lemon yellow makes me happy and I'm going to wear it

Hannah, I know what you mean about white turning leopard. This would not be an appropriate outfit for every kid-related activity, like painting rocks, which was what we did yesterday! But, inspired by Angie, I decided that washing machines were made for a reason, and I didn't mind doing a bit more laundry if something got on my white clams or jeans. Heaven knows I do plenty already, so what's another occasional load??
