Blue skirt, graphic tees

I recently bought a new, blue, skirt, and needed some ideas of how to style it. In another thread (http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....ost-130272) I got some really great ideas from some of you clever and helpful people, and I've now taken some pics with different tops. I'll split them into different posts, starting with some graphic tees!

I like it best with the black and white tee tucked it....with it untucked, you lose the lines of the skirt...but tucked in shows off your waist perfectly =)

Oh, I really like option two, but think option three could work if a waist cinching belt was added. It' a very cute skirt.

Oh, thanks everyone! Option 2 it is! Louise and RoseandJoan, I'll return with some pics with other tops, and a belt, I'd love to hear what you think of those!

Um, to someone who's struggling to understand the "why" of why some things don't work as good as other - I'd love to hear why the first top doesn't work as good than the second! Is it too oversized? Or is it that the print is cut in the middle? Or does the colour wash me out? Or something completely different? I'd very much appreciate your honest opinions on this!

I think shirt one has slightly too much volume for the skirt Kairn.

I managed to add a boyfriend blazer over my graphic tee and full skirt

I also think a knot front shirt would look very cute.

Thanks yublocka and RoseandJoan! The BF blazer looks great over the tee, thanks for the link - I still haven't got round to getting one of those though! But I'll keep looking, and if I do find one I'll be sure to try it with this outfit! And thanks for the idea about a front knot shirt!

I also think what makes the second outfit work quite well is that the print on it almost imitates the texture of the skirt, however weird that sounds.

The first tshirt is too baggy for the outfit as there is also volume in the skirt.
