Descriptions of your daily ensembles

black with texture

Hi all -

Things continue to be kind of hectic in my neck of the woods. I was so disappointed to miss the Bay Area get together but work beckoned and so did a lot of other heavy life stuff. Interestingly, it got cloudy and rainy for a bit this last weekend. It was very unseasonably wet and cool for us. In conjunction with everything else, it made me want to be warm and cozy.

I pulled together this work outfit, which fit both of those adjectives. It is more black than I usually wear. I think it may be reflecting my mood a bit. Sorry the picture is fuzzy, that too is strangely representative of my mood lately. I'm wearing a black wrap sweater from the gap, black lace cami from ny&co, a skirt from one of my suits, and my nine west shoes. You can't see the accessories but I have a big, silver flower ring and some drop pearl earrings.

I don't get to engage in the forum as often as I'd like these days, but I do check in and I miss you!

You look very pretty. The picture is a little fuzzy but I can still see the beautiful silhouette.
Too bad you missed the YLF gathering!

Your look is both timeless and beautiful, I love the contrast the lace brings. I hope the world stops spinning long enough for you to catch your breath soon.

Very pretty dress and cami! So elegant!

A little more textural interest would not hurt :0). You need something to break the black from against your face – pearls, or another type of necklace. That would lift the look :0)
