Black flats dilemma

As some of you might remember,I recently got these Steve Madden black flats:

Today I was at Marshalls and could not resisted picking up these Me Toos for a song:

I thought that I haven't worn the first pair yet so I would just return them and keep the Me Toos. But I have actually done so, once, so they are not returnable.
So what do I do now? Are they to similar to keep both? The Me Toos are so much more comfortable ...

Tanya, I've been considering those two too and for me the Me Toos win out just because of how awesomely comfortable they are.

Where did you get the SM's? Some stores still let you return them after wearing them.

Those Me Toos are fantastic and I actually like them more than the SM's. What is the style name?

Comfort always wins in my book...so I would just keep them.

Sadly, I got SM's from Filene's Basement. there are clear marks on the sole and I have scuffed them a tiny bit too, so there's n returning them.

The Me Too's are called Marco. I really like them too, more than SM's. I know that i would wear them much more often than SM's. Sigh ...

Hmm, maybe you can put the SM's up for swap? That way you might at least score a sufficiently different pair of shoes from the Me Toos...or something different all together. They are definitely a steal: I tried Googling for them and couldn't find any info at all about this style!

I tried those SM's on tonight..cute, maybe you should keep both and use the SM's when you want a little change.

San, they are 8.5 ( I am normally a 8). I have already managed to put a lot of wear on their sole in just one wear

Maya, I also could not find the Me Too's anywhere and have never see them before. Maybe they are a style only made for outlets and discount stores? They are basically the same as my Limit's only with a pointed toe.

You could also sell the Steve Maddens--either consign them or sell them outright at a place like Buffalo Exchange. You wouldn't get all your money back, but you'd get some, and you could use your store credit for something completely different!

I totally vote for the me toos. You could try to sell the steve maddens on ebay. One of my coworkers does it all the time and she raves about it.

Man, you have the cutest shoes. I love both of the flats, but I definitely love the Me Toos a little more. They are sooo sweet. If you walk a lot, maybe you could keep both of them and rotate between both pairs.

I recently found a great consignment store near my house to sell my slightly used stuff (I get bored easily), and I highly recommend it!! You could try to find a place like that to sell your stuff. It is a nice way to get a lil bit of your money back...

I have decided to keep the Me Toos, comfort matters a lot.

I do not think my consignment store would take the SM's based on the condition of their soles and I do not have the nerves and the time to do the ebay thing. I will just keep them for now and see how often I wear them compared to Me Too's. If it turnes out that I am completely neglecting them, I will just put them for swap.

I love the black Me Toos! I admired them at my local TJ Maxx just a couple of weeks ago, but alas, no money. Now I can live vicariously through you.
