Belated May/June outfits from Antje

Better late than never... here are some outfits I wore in May and June (and one from last nite.) I haven't been very active on the forum for various reasons, including a general toning down of online activities due to soreness in the neck, but have peeked a bit here and there and have missed it quite a bit!

Yay it's so good to see you back Antje. I asked Angie about you when I lunched with her. I've missed your presence and your creative outfits here on the forum.
You do not dissappoint! Right off the bat I LOVE the dress with leggings. It looks to be summery, sheer and light. Gorgeous.
I also took notice of your white lace top, so pretty.
All of your outfits are fun and interesting. Thanks for coming back and posting. I hope your neck feels better. What a bummer.

Antje - you look so great! It's hard to even comment. I think that you look really good in dresses with leggings. These photos jumped out at me as particularly great:
1/2 - dress with jean jacket
5 - wrap dress
9 - checked top
16 - dress over jeans

It's so good to see you back Antje. I hope you're feeling better.
My favorites are #1 and #13.
I also love the necklace in #4. You can totally wear it with the Express skirt, it would look amazing.

I really like your look...you have your style down...:) You layer like a pro!!

I love the little denim Jacket, and nope, I just can't pick a fav, you look super in everything!

Thanks all, it's good to be back :-) And I'm so happy you like the first outfit with the black and white dress. The voluminous dress is a new look for me and I've been very torn about it: I almost took the dress back. I'm glad I kept it, and have been happy with the "reigned in" volume utilizing the belt. So I'm especially tickled to get positive comments on it.

Bella, I have indeed worn that necklace with the Express skirt (w/ a soft long-sleeved black button down) and it worked great! The necklace is from Target of all places and I've gotten great wear out of it this spring and summer. And this after not even having owned a single necklace until last year... I'm glad I expanded my style horizon.

Antje - so great to see your post. You look vivacious, daring, adventurious, colorful, and stylish all wrapped into one little package.

I love the first dress and the wrap dress. However, I don't like the denim jacket with the first dress. Something about its length paired with the dress and the leggings, doesn't seem to work. Sorry, I can't explain it any better.

My hands down KILLER outfit is the yellow belt over the vest. How creative, how you, and so edgy, funky and great looking!

I LOVE the white vest outfit and the one with the belt over a vest! I also really like the black tunic with grey skinnies. Have you worn it with a vest?
I hope your neck is doing better.

Antje - you always inspire me. I love your accessory choices and colorful shoes. They always work so well and fit your style! Hope you had a relaxing weekend!

How wonderful to have you back, Antje. I've missed your inspirational outfits. :) I love your use of color in your accessories. And your outfits are so pretty. I especially love it when you wear your Express b/w print skirt. I love mine too, but I find that I don't wear it enough. But when I do wear it, I absolutely love it. :)

All of your outfits are wonderful, Antje. It's fun to see you in all of the summery dresses and know you are really enjoying them. I find myself partial to the last outfit. It's so retro and pleasantly beachy.

I hope your neck feels better soon!

Antje it is wonderful to see another outfit post from you - and what a slew of piccies!!!

Highlights for me are:

- Black and white Express skirt. Love!!! Shows your figure off perfectly. The blouse you have paired with it is lovely too.

- Wrap dress. Gorgeous shape! I wonder if it is a tad too long, or that could just be the photo angle.

- Purple ruffly blouse.

- Flower top worn as vest. Such an unexpected combination!

- White vest paired with black - looks so classic!

- Blue patterned dress. Just beautiful, and you have have accessorised it perfectly!!

Such a treat to see all these outfits!!!

Antje - It's great to see you again. I'm sorry to hear about your neck problems.

I love to see your outfits. My favorites are the high-waisted pencil skirt looks. Those are great. The red belted shirt is unique. I think it's great and so you. I also love the white vest outfit. Lovely!

Thanks for sharing.

It's so good to see you here again! I always get an idea or two from your outfits, and the one that stands out for me is the first one with the black and white dress and yellow belt. Stunning!

Antje, I missed you and your posts! I am glad you are feeling better, and hope all is back to normal health-wise.

As always, love each and everyone one of the outfits. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be the outfit with the express skirt, and the last outfit (love the colourful, well cut top with the light wash skirt). I also really like how your yellow studded belt adds just the right amount of cheekiness to a soft, flowy dress ;-)

So great to see you, Antje--you've been missed! I love your style so much. My faves: the Express b/w skirt, the H&M dress outfit, the shirtdress with the blue shell necklace, the modern floral wrap dress, the white vest, and the first outfit with the denim jacket. And is that turquoise cropped cardi from H&M? If so I have the same one!

Thanks gals :-) Brianna, yes, the cropped turquoise cardi is from H&M, and I got the same in black. I love it over dresses!

Yay! More Antje style! Good to have you back. We have missed you.

I *love* the voluminous dress with the faded denim jacket. That’s my favourite! So fab! But all the outfits are great and you’re wearing loads of chunky necklaces with is wonderful. I especially adore the white waistcoat and cream cross-body bag. Those are very new looks for you and I’m REALLY digging it!

Antje's back! Antje's back! :)

So sorry about your neck and hope your discipline about reducing your web time helps.

It always feels redundant to say, "You look great!" since you wear everything with such confidence and do, in fact, look great. I add my voice to those who particularly enjoyed your leggings outfit with the black and white dress and jean jacket.

I was seeking your input a couple of weeks ago on flower pins, which you do so well, and put together an outfit inspired by you. Not to hijack your thread, but here is my "Antje outfit":

goodness, how can i pick a favorite???? it's not fair, antje! you can't boggle my mind like this so early in the morning!! :P

some particular loves: the sheer print dress over leggings. the print wrap dress. that white vest. the teal cardi with the lace blouse. the checkered tie-neck top. ACK ACK CANNOT COMPUTE. i'm going to go have breakfast to recover :)

Oh girls, you are too nice!! I'm glad I posted. And April, I am SO sorry I missed your original flower pin post. I hope you wore it lots, because it looks super fab!!! I'm glad to have inspired you, hey, that's what YLF is all about. As Angie so knowingly stated, there are definitely some new looks in these most recent pictures, and they were absolutely YLF-inspired, especially the cream and offwhite pieces - totally new color for me!

(One sad update, though: the offwhite vest is trashed. I washed it on warm, since there was a spot on it, and it shrunk, which means that now the lining is hanging out. It was a cheap purchase but I'm still very annoyed. Not sure I'll replace it now it's already mid-July. But I'm glad it worked well and will look for a similar item next spring.)

Antje, we have missed you! I love your leggings look, and your Portland wrap dress and the tie-neck blouse are AWESOME. (Where is the blouse from?)

I agree with April - it's so hard to pick a favorite because you are so confident and look "at home" in everything. I admire how you embrace complex layering and make it look so effortless.

Hope that your neck is healing OK!
