This is my first attempt at choosing a "statement" pair, as previously I looked for something understated (and, admittedly, boring). I like the shape, which suited my face shape much better than the more sqare-ish alternatives. A couple of things I wonder about:

1. Are the frames too wide for my face?
2. Is the color too harsh for my complexion? It's hard to tell in the picture, but the outside of the frame is an unusual color that is neither chocolate brown nor burgandy, but somewhere in between, and the inside of the frame is a transluscent pearl pink.

What do you all think? How should I adjust my selection criteria for next time?
