Simon Malls are doing fall live fashion events at some of their locations, including Stanford Shopping Center on November 1st.

The email I got from Glamour further specified that the event is from 1-6pm, even though that info isn't on the website. Anyone interested in meeting up and checking out the event? I'm not sure what they'll actually be doing, maybe a small fashion show? Demos? Could be a good excuse to meet other YLFers, in any case.

Unbelievably, that day is currently open on my chauffeuring schedule! Wow. I will make a note of this and hope to be there! I'd love another YLF meet up!

I am probably not going to be able to make it. Poor husband had to go to urgent care last night for a nasty bout of stomach flu so it's doubtful he'd be able to handle the kids on Saturday

I forgot all about this--darn. I am in the worst place--doing another round of pre-cancer treatment with Efudex--my face, my neck, my upper chest. A few more days and then I can start healing up again. I don't have it in me for a shopping adventure.

I don't have to worry about a costume tonight--the kiddies will scream when they see my face!

Yes, I did - I posted one pic on a real time thread yesterday and will post more pictures once I'm able to sync my phone. It was more of a stop by as you're shopping sort of thing than one big show - short fashion shows and styling challenges every half hour, racks set out so you could see what items from which stores at the mall were available, chances to win gift cards, free styling advice etc.

I'm sorry y'all weren't able to make it - it was pretty cool - in both senses since thankfully the rain had mostly stopped but the wind and sprinkles liked to reoccur every little while, and of course it was outside in one of the pavilions between stores.

N-Marie, hope your husband is feeling better, and MsMaven, hope your treatment continues to go well.
