Q&A about individual items, ensembles, and wardrobe

Basic, but not Boring

I really needed a neutral long sleeved shirt for winter, but didn't want it to be boring. I found this knot front version on sale (plus I had a coupon) at JC Penney's.

I'm really happy with the fit and price (including shipping, I paid under $18), and I think that it fits my basic but not boring requirement.
What do you think?

Khris, that top looks great on you and I know you'll be able to wear it a lot of ways. Seems a great find!

Ooh, I really like this blouse, Khris. I like those little extra styling details. The twist on this one is really flattering.

It's great, my sister had a similar shirt in a light lime color, which I have always been envious of. This shirt reminds me of it.

It looks like a great piece and fits beautifully. Let us know how much care this style needs. I'm too often afraid of buying interesting washable shirts like this because I've had ironing nightmares in the past.

It is a gorgeous blouse and it fits you so well. Great job!

I washed and dried this shirt, and am wearing it today. It needed a light ironing, and the pleating was a little tricky- but not too bad. The pleats are sewn into the sides, so I was able to just follow them across. Really not too bad.
