Back from vacation - updated with pics

Long story short--

Enjoyed every bit of my vacation. The heated infinity pool overlooking the ocean was my favorite place to be. My DD and I did use the gym. They had a new elliptical plus some yoga mats, believe it or not. My DH did some diving while my DD went snorkeling.

My DD lost her iPhone at a 7-Eleven store in Cozumel. We went back to retrieve it, as we know that's where she left it. They said they knew nothing about it. Luckily, I was able to use the free Wi-Fi at our hotel to get in touch with my older DD in Philly to ask her to call AT&T to report the phone lost and have it deactivated.

My DH left his laptop on the airplane and realized it when we got to baggage claim. Delta searched but couldn't find it. The laptop belongs to the university, so... Ugh!

I have a few pics. My DH's diving pics were on his laptop. That's a cryin' shame because he paid for pics that were taken by a lady who had a better camera. I told my DH that without the pics, he won't have proof that he saw turtles and sharks, lol. Seriously, he did. Beautiful pics, too.

Welcome back! I'm glad to hear that it was enjoyable. Mexico is the perfect place for a getaway. I'm still hoping to go to San Miguel de Allende this year, but things keep coming up to interfere. Did you get to do any shopping, BC?

I didn't shop to amount to anything. My DD and I both agreed that in order to wear that stuff, you'd have to live down there. It wouldn't fly here where we live. We'd look very out of place, to say the least. It was very Boho. I didn't buy any souvenirs because my DH and I have traveled a lot and already have enough stuff. Also, my DH's students give us stuff. I have beautiful things from China and Thailand, and I've never been there, lol.

The first time we went, we stayed at Hotel Cozumel, which is all inclusive if you want it to be. We chose to pay out of pocket for the daily lunch buffet, which was $10/person. We ate dinner in town every night.

This time we stayed at The Coral Princess. Not inclusive, and the menu didn't change from one day to the next.

It's hard to say which resort is better. They each have pros and cons. Both are within walking distance of town.

Thanks. In those last 2 pics, my DH and DD are snorkeling in the water. It's very hard to see them. I just couldn't get a good pic of them because they were out too far.
