I have finally managed to catch some good light so I am posting the photos I have recently promised to.

Here's the outfit from Express - wine silk cowlneck top and black ruffled high-waisted pencil skirt - I plan to wear for my b-day dinner ( with these shoes, but I haven't figured out the accessories yet):

Wow, your Express outfit is so rich, Tanya. It's quite pretty. I'm really liking some of their newer items.
The Zara jacket looks so warm, and I love the cut. I bet you can find many ways to wear this.

Your birthday outfit is fantastic! That is a gorgeous color on you. Hope you have a very happy birthday! As for accessories, maybe a statement bracelet or some earrings? I think the neckline of the shirt is beautiful as is, so I'm not sure about a necklace.

The Zara jacket is also great. I like how it's shaped at the bottom. It fits you perfectly!

The express top outfit - stunning! Perfect balance between classy and alluring. Your bf's mouth is going to drop to the ground. The bf aside - I'm so glad you have an outfit in your closet like this, to offset the whole "I work in a lab" thing. Everyone needs at least one such outfit - whether married, in a long-term relationship, single and looking, or single and perfectly content to stay that way.

The Zara jacket is amazing! I wish I could pull off such a jacket. You wear this look very well.
