Asos - white summer shoes - YouLookFab Forum

Well this topic is timely I ordered 2pr of Asos white shoes. I literally just tried them on. My first thought was they looked like they are not going to fit. My next were they are so pretty I hope they fit then they don't fit.

The are everything I am looking for my foot is an 11w I order the size 11. As I waited and the days passed I found my hopes rising. One is a leather pair the ones on the right. The ones on the left are pleather long suffering sigh.

The leather feels like it will strech. The pleather I'm not sure about. So I wonder if I should even try or just send them both back.

I did not expect my dissapointment to be so high.
So my question is should I keep and try to strech or return?

Ledonna, good news and bad news: the bad news is that the pleather shoes will NOT stretch, and won't breathe, either, so they may feel sweaty and stick to your feet in hot weather; the good news is that the strappy leather ones most certainly WILL stretch, especially if you try one of the methods featured in Angie's post today, and they are gorgeous! My daughter takes a 10 1/2 or 11 shoe, so I know how hard it is to find fashion-forward shoes that fit. My verdict: send the faux-leather ones back, and give the lovely leather ones the old college try.

Tulle thank you for such a timely response. I am in the process of trying the ice bag method fingers crossed.

I hope the ice method works. If it doesn't, be strong and send them back. Next. ( life is too important to wear uncomfortable footwear). If you keep them, you will still be searching for a better pair. Eventually they will turn up and you will be free to buy them without the guilt that you have a pair of white shoes.

Thank you Joy in my mind I know your right but it's a tiny bit of hope that they will strech. Long suffering sigh.........it is challenging having a larger flatter foot. That is why I duplica shoes so much if I find a good pair.

If they are long enough, there is a good chance that they will stretch for you, especially if they are just a bit too tight for comfort. Fingers crossed that they will turn into comfortable shoes.

Try to stretch the leather ones, but send the pleather back. Very cool shoes.

Oh no.. Hope they do stretch. They don't exist in 1/2 size larger, do they?

Thanks for the boost everyone I left them in the freezer overnight and will pull them out after work to thaw out. Why did I have to like the pleather ones the best. Insert long suffering sigh of the big foot woman troubles. I will let you all know how it works out.

Daria-they don't come in any larger size 11 was it. If you have a narrow or slim foot they would work.

You certainly have good taste in summer shoes! Those are both super cute. I agree with the Fabbers who've advised you to return the pleather pair and try to stretch the others. If they still aren't comfortable, send them back. You will eventually find exactly what you want and need!

Windchime- I wish I could take credit for the choices but, I cannot. I posted a link to the original thread and the YLF family and Angie were great help. Actually Angie supplied 5 choices and from these I picked 2 very reasonably priced pr.
