Ask Angie: Trying to rock the frock

Laura inspired me to find a day dress, so I hit Macy's dress department today. I love that this dress has a cowl neck and longer sleeves. It feels soft and cozy. I need a very honest opinion on fit and how it looks.

If it's a keeper, any suggestions for hose/tights? I'm not sure about the brown opaque tights. :o)

The hose you've chosen works. Try nude fishnets too. Sheer grey hose will also look lovely. Well done, Boof! Your user name cracks me up.

A KILLER and a "clever little sausage" all at once? I feel faint! My user name is a nickname I acquired in high school and has been with me ever since. My name is Meredith, and a two-year-old I knew at the time called me "Mereboof." My friends latched on to the "Boof" part, and I also had HUGE 80's hair, so the boof is also a reference to the hair, as in "bouffant." :o) Too much information?

Queenie, I live in Atlanta, so we have a few more bare leg days left.

My next mission is fishnets at Nordstrom! :o)

The Missoni style print is wonderful. BTW, are you wearing a white bra under the dress? This would account for the strange white flash marks

It's the bra under the flash that's doing that. Wear a darker or flesh-colored bra and you'll be all set. Happens to actresses on the red carpet all the time!

Echo, I found it at Macy's. They also had the same dress in gold and gray tones. It was prettty, too.
