Hi Angie I read your posts everyday and would love to get your advice.I am a SAHM and usually wear cardis with jeans and flats.now during the colder months I usually wear my skinny jeans with boots and my knee length winter coat .my question is can I also wear my skinny jeans with flats and cardi and my knee length winter coat when I get out or skinnys won't with that coat and flats.

I wear my skinnies with flats and love the look. I do think though that it depends on your body type, as well as how "skinny" your skinnies are. Do you feel that you need the boots to balance out your hips? Do you feel "exposed" wearing your skinnies without a longer top? If you care to, you can post a picture of both looks you are describing, and the ladies here are great sets of impartial eyes.

Ya that's what I want to know. Are Skinnies ok with winter coat and flats?

That will look fine s80, but if it's cold enough to wear a coat, don't you need to wear shoes or boots with socks?

Ya but sometimes I like to wear my flats too.what other kind of shoes can you suggest that would go with this look? Thanks for your prompt replies.I do wear my skinnies with boots alot but I also plan on wearing them with heels and flats on the days when it's not too wet.
