I love, love, loved your series on flop-proof outfits for MOTG for spring and summer. I printed them all out and refer to them all the time! Are you planning a similar series for fall and winter? This mom-on-the-go could certainly use your guidance : )

Amy, what have you been wearing so far? It's getting chilly here so I've got fall MOTG wear in full swing this week. I'm doing day dresses with full-length leggings and Frye harness boots, skinny jeans with long, open cardigans, a JCrew ruffled tank underneath, and again harness boots (these have proven to be both stylish and rainproof, and give everything I wear a little boho flair).

I am investigating ponte knit pants as an alternative to skinnies, yet comfy. Let me know what you're been trying!

Oh, I'd like to see a post on this too! I want to do some dresses+leggings/tights+boots looks but my usual stand-by is bootcut or straight-leg jeans/cords/microcheck pants+graphic tee/knit top/cami+cardigan/blazer/coat+ballet flats/loafers/ankle boots+scarf/statement necklace. Now that I have a decent pair of riding boots, I plan to experiment with the same basic formula but substitute skirts(denim and non-denim) and also try dresses/tunics. I also think my formula feels a little stale so I am looking at adding some trends and make it more exciting!

I have ont outfit that I wore a lot in the spring/summer that is a wrap dress with a cami underneath, shell necklace and sandals. For fall, I will wear it with a different colored cami, a scarf, boofriend blazer belted, tights and boots. I think that skinnies/boots/tunic will be another good formula for me.

By the sounds of things, all the info is right here, with real life models! But we’ll see. Those posts are very time consuming and it all depends on how much time I have to spare. But I could be swayed.

It really depends on your weather in Autumn. There are at least 10 different flop proof formulas I can think of offhand. I guess I’m whetting your appetites at this point :0(

Oh I too love it when Angie does these MOTG posts. I will eagerly watch for one!

Today I have on a dress, skinnies, my new Target knock off Frye riding boots and a cardigan. Feels pretty good.

In California right now, we're having some large temperature differentials between morning and afternoon (e.g., 50 deg a.m. to 80 deg p.m.). That means a lot of layering. Typical outfits for me:

Pants Outfit:
- Check pants or jeans
- Converse or flats
- Short-sleeve knit top
- 3/4 or long sleeve cardi
- Jean, moto, or other jacket

Dress outfit:
- Leggings
- Boots (change to sandals later in the day, if needed)
- Dress with cami underneath
- Jean, moto, or other jacket
