What a good question!! I have tried many brands of jeans looking for the right proportions. It's the waist I have such a hard time fitting. The hips and butt look good, but the waist is always too big and slithers southward during the day. I hate doing the hike-your-jeans-up wiggle. So. Annoying.
Gap Curvy Bootcut and Gap Curvy Skinny fit my little waist-big booty (bootie? or is that just the shoe?) shape. Yes to them both. The dark wash fits truer to size for me, the lighter wash is a little roomy. If they are being discontinued I might cry a little.
Old Navy Sweetheart bootcuts look and feel great for about 15 minutes and then the waist stretches out and you need to hold them up with 2 hands. Great price if they can work for you.
Loft has some pretty nice curvy styles. I have only tried the Premium (I think? Not the regular fabrication but the other) bootcuts and they are FABULOUS. http://www.loft.com/supreme-cu.....lse&s They do not stretch out at all, and they look fantastically sexy. I got them half off so they were also very affordable. I'm wanting to try some of their other curvy styles like the coated black moto jeans.
I've had some Levis that work, like the 529, but my goodness they are kind of frumpy. I mean, they're fine. But they don't make my butt look it's best, and that's what jeans are for, right?
