My mom and I had a great time at the Nordstrom sale yesterday! I'd appreciate help in deciding what's "killer", what's nice and practical for fall, and what should probably go back.

There's a beautiful navy floral Bellatrix blouse I'm still thinking of going back for if I decide to return some things.

Photo #1: Kut from Kloth skinnies. So comfy and I love the wash. They're the smallest size, but they're just a bit roomy. Will this brand stretch much? Would they be worth a waist alteration?

Photo #2: Trouve shrunken blazer. A little bit boxy?

Photo #3: Gibson blazer. Not on sale, but it caught my eye. Do you like one blazer better than the other?

Photo #4: Trouve cropped sweater. Very boxy. And I haven't figured out what to wear underneath.

Photo #5: Frye strappy Jane. I put these on with shorts since they weren't showing up well with jeans. Are the color and fit ok? I think a few extra holes could be added to the straps to make the fit snugger.

Okay, I am no help because everything looks amazing to me. Between the two jackets, I prefer #2. It's got a great tuxedo-y cut, and the lapel is interesting. Love the Frye Janes!

Wow these are some great finds.
#1-I can't speak on stretch for this brand for jeans, although my Bermuda shorts from them don't stretch much. They look good.
#2-I like this, not boxy at all.
#3-I am biased since I have this blazer, both blazers look good, do you have a color preference? I would say keep both since one is light and one is dark is you have the need.
#4-I like the exaggerated boxy shape with something long underneath as you did here, as long as the underlayer is long and a bit streamline to the body the boxy sweater will work.
#5-Again I defer fit to others but the height and shape are lovely on you. In fact I like this outfit as is right here!

These all look fantastic. I am not familiar with Kut. The jeans are very cute, but I do have a feeling you could wear a size smaller if it existed. I think the first blazer is nice but the second one is amazing. I really like the boxy sweater the way you are wearing it, but I would probably wear a tank to avoid the line midway down your arm. Boots-so jealous. They are gorgeous.

I love all of these. Of the two jackets both seem to fit well but I prefer the funky style of the first one if you have to choose. The boots are beyond fab.

I tried on that Trouve sweater and almost got it in grey, but decided I did not need another boxy grey sweater... it looks fab on you and it was a great price! You could wear it either with a sleeveless top or a fitted long-sleeve underneath. Short sleeves might look odd because you would see the sleeve line.

Yowsa, Sammi, can I go shopping with your mom :)? I really love everything! Can't comment on the Kut jeans, but I'm sure someone will chime in re. the fit/stretch factor...I love both jackets (they look like they fit you beautifully and seem like they'd be really versatile) and love the idea of the boxy sweater, but I'm slightly distracted by what's going on with the sleeves--does the knit change partway down? Also not 100% on that color for you, but I'm being pretty nitpicky here. Maybe wear something blue underneath, even a button down so the collar is peeking out? Love the Frye boots, are you kidding me?!

I love both blazers! Please keep them. The first one has a edgy vibe to me while the second has an awesome colour! You look fab in all those outfits!

Gosh.. everything is perfect on you. I vote keep it all.
Regarding the jeans... I find that my Kut's do stretch just a bit, but I buy mine snug to start with... they have to stretch to accomodate my butt and thighs
I"d wear them around the house for half a day and see how much they stretch on you before you decide.

I think these are all pretty killer! i imagine any jeans will strech some so I would wear them around the house on the weekend in see, but often a little nip at the waist can do a lot for fit, so I think that isn't a bad option if they don't stretch out too much other than that. Nice finds!

Good grief. I love it all! Both blazers are fab, the boots are fantastic, and I love the boxiness of the sweater. I also like the jeans very much (they look like they fit you perfectly) but I'll tell you that I have two pairs in different styles and they do stretch. Keep the tags on and wear them around the house for a bit.

I love it all on you! I've had my eye on those blazers and that sweater, and decided the sweater probably wouldn't work on petite, shrimpy me, and it looks fantastic on you - I love it when I get to live vicariously through others! The jeans look like they fit you well. I have one pair of Kut jeans (from last year's NAS!) and I love them.

I like it all. I prefer the second blazer (#3), think it has a little more pizazz with the closer cut. The jeans look really cute... I find all pants stretch in the waistband. If they're loose now, they may be falling down later.

I have Kut white bermudas and they stretch a bit. I also have black wash skinnies and they do not stretch at all but the fabric is pretty thick on those. I also suggest to wear them around the house for the test.
I like the first jacket but it does not look shranken on you - still cute though. (here is selfish me rubs hands in glee that maybe this shrunken jacket will not be too shrunken on me after all!:-)) The second jacket looks great too but I would prefer the first one because it is more unique and unusual. However if you do not have a well fitting blazer i would keep both.
Boots are so great looking - I am not sure about the fit. Are they slouchy or fitted? Anyway I will let boots experts to chime in on the fit here...

Lisa - your Gibson blazer was the reason I tried this one on. It looks fabulous on you.

Scarlet and Alaskagirl - I like the idea of a tank under the sweater. Maybe in a darker color even? Or blue as Jonesy suggested. I was wearing long sleeves here, but my sleeve was caught halfway...oops!

Sarah - You should try the sweater! I'm 5'2 so am a petite too!

Alicat - I think you're right about the jeans. I really want to like them, but they're loose in the waist, hips and legs and it sounds like the consensus is that they will stretch more.

Sveta - I also like the jacket kind of boxy, but I will be SO jealous if it looks shrunken on you! Shrunken jackets rarely look so on me

Aida - I think these would look great on you! The boots were moving fast at my store!

I'd like to go back and try the Hudson and J Brand skinnies. Does anyone know if those run smaller?

My Kut from the Kloth skinnies do stretch a tiny bit, but not hugely. I'm still wearing my pair from last year's NAS.

Good grief, you'r 5'2"? Your legs look like they're a mile long! OK, maybe I'll have to try the jackets/sweater - I was thinking that since they didn't come in petite I'd have to pass. Darn, more things to consider! I was hoping I would have some excuses to STOP with the NAS purchases. FWIW, I also have the Kut jeans in a black wash and they don't stretch out at all.

Kari - I'm seriously considering it! I don't know if I really need two blazers...but I do wear them a lot. And fall is my dominant season.

Sarah - haha, no I'm quite petite! The torso length and shoulder width of petite sizes sometimes work better for me, but my limbs can be a bit too long. So I generally shop in the regular sections and get things altered as needed.

In my experience J Brand runs bigger and Hudson smaller. I wear the same size in both but J Brand has a lot more give.
